Carving sculptures started as early as 32,000 B.C and metalworking started in the early 8700 B.C and became famous on 19th century when many smiths became more skilled in their craft

There are many different techniques in metalworking such as carving, casting, enamelling, engraving, filigree, gliding, stamping, studs, and turning.

Four main techniques used in sculpture are carving, modelling, casting, and polishing.
